Finally got our pictures off the camera and onto my laptop!
These are from when my parents were here visiting. Mom wanted to go up to Silverton, CO for some shopping and we decided to make a day of it and do a little jeeping. Well a little turned into a lot! We left fairly early in the morning, packed a picnic lunch and planned on being home around dinner. Well dinner turned into after 11:00pm, oopps! Of course Kenneth had to work the next day, but he was excited about taking the jeep off-roading! I think my parents enjoyed it up until it was dark and we were still in the woods and out of snacks (and we were not super sure of how long it would take to get out), mom was very excited when we saw headlights from the highway! Honestly so was everyone else, but we still had a 1 1/2 hour drive back to the house. Overall we had a great time!

Our trail map for the day. We started in Silverton, headed to Engineer Pass, then to Lake City, then back to Cinnamon Pass, and out Mineral Creek. Then we got back on the highway and headed south 1 1/2 hours home! |
