Being a stay at home mom and getting organized....
First let me tell you how much I LOVE being at home with my kiddos! I only wish we could have afforded this when they were little. They keep me completely entertained all day. Zachary LOVES to watch TV or play video games, so I get asked about 100 times a day to play Wii with him. Christina has become my little TV shopper. She brings me these pieces of paper with the latest "crap" I need to buy off the TV, then gets all upset when I won't buy it. They love being outside, chasing the animals we have on the property, or our dumb dog that keeps digging out. Our whole yard is surrounded by chicken wire (both on the ground and up the fence), yet Bella keeps getting out. The other day she actually chewed through the chicken wire. Crazy dog! She LOVES to chase and terrorize the prairie dogs! The other day Christina comes in with a hat full of prairie dog bones! She dug them out of the dirt, collected them in one of her hats and brings them to me. GROSS! She was upset when I made her throw them in the trash! This morning I found them out front with tennis rackets, and a toy pet carrier trying to catch Aunt Janelle a rabbit! Good Lord!
I have been trying to get organized, which in a 900 square foot cabin with 2 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs is NOT an easy task. There is just not enough room for everything, and it is driving me nuts! Every time we get the kids room cleaned, they destroy it. I finally have the "office" straightened up and organized, the living room, and kitchen are done. So Kenneth and I decided to start updating his photography site. It has been months since we updated anything and we were pretty busy the last 6 months. I have almost completed updating everything which feels great. Now lets see if I can keep it that way.
I had a revelation this past week that not only will our family miss Carter's first birthday but Kenneth won't be around to take his 1 year pictures! This makes me very sad, we have always taken all the important pictures for our family! We miss all of our family and friends but I really think we miss the kids the most! (Sorry everyone else) They all change so much in such a short time that by the time we see them in December they will be all grown. Laura, Jamison, Carson, Jayden, Clayton, and Carter we love you guys so much and miss you even more!!
This weekend we are back to hitting the trails and meeting up with Kenneth's friend that moved a few hours north of us. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
